Through the same head, ultrasound passes into the tissue beneath - a gentle, vibration-free micro-massage. A thin water-based layer (serum or gel, never oil) carries it cleanly.

The metal application head reaches contact temperature within 1–2 minutes. Warmth is transferred directly through the contact surface - gentle, never hot - while the ultrasound transmits into the underlying tissue. Customers commonly keep the head moving in slow, even circles for the most uniform sensation.
Ultraease combines two simultaneous mechanisms in the same application head: contact warming via an integrated heating element, and ultrasound transmission via the transducer surface. The warmth you feel is the heating element; the ultrasound is separate, silent, and not felt as a sensation. Both are present on every setting and both scale together.
Each setting raises the warmth and the reach of the ultrasound together. Setting 1 (30°C) - gentle warmth, close to the surface - for delicate areas. Setting 2 (36°C) - warmer and a little deeper - for the neck, shoulders and connective tissue. Setting 3 (41°C) - warmest and with the longest reach - for thicker areas like calves and the lower back. The ultrasound operates in the 1-3 MHz range; you select the settings with the up/down buttons.
Yes - on the face, many use Setting 1 (30°C, the gentlest warmth) and apply a water-based serum or moisturiser first so the head glides smoothly. Leave out the eye area, the eyelids, the front of the throat, and any irritated or broken skin.
No, a dedicated gel is not a requirement. Any water-based product you already have works as a contact layer - a serum, a water-based moisturiser, or a simple water-based gel. That thin, slick layer helps the head glide and makes for clean ultrasound transmission. The one thing to avoid is oils; they don't transmit ultrasound well. Our own Ultraease ultrasound gel for longer sessions is coming soon - an upgrade, not a requirement.
Wipe the metal head after each use with a soft, barely-damp cloth to remove any gel or serum residue, then dry it right away. The device is not splash-proof - never rinse it under water and don't let moisture reach the seams or charging contacts. Don't use alcohol, solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Each session is 10 minutes per region - the device auto-stops at the end. The auto-stop is built in as a safeguard: a single 10-minute application is what one area needs at a time, and the device prevents accidental over-use on the same spot. Customers commonly take different body regions in separate sessions throughout the day - for example, face in the morning, neck and shoulders during the day, calves after activity. New users often start at Setting 1 and increase the setting or duration gradually as they get a feel for the device.
Up to six full 10-minute sessions per charge, depending on the selected setting and use of the warming element. Charges over USB-A, either directly or via the included dock; full charge time approx. 2 hours.
Ultraease is a wellness device for at-home self-care use, combining two technologies in one application head: a contact-warming element on the metal surface, and a 1-3 MHz ultrasound transducer. It is not a certified medical device and is not designed for diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing medical conditions. If there might be health reasons against it in your case, please check with your doctor before adding it to your routine.
We do not recommend using Ultraease during pregnancy unless your physician or midwife has advised it is appropriate. In any case, leave out the abdomen, the lower back and the pelvic region - as a precaution, these zones are left alone in any external ultrasound application.
