PHONOPHORESIS

"Phonophoresis refers to the medical application of sound waves for therapeutic purposes. Usually, these are ultrasound waves, which are used to introduce a specific active ingredient into the tissue through the skin. The procedure is primarily used in pain therapy (Gelenk-Klinik.de)."

Disclaimer:

In principle, Ultraease ultrasound can be used for pain relief and healing purposes through phonophoresis. However, the appropriate active ingredient must be applied and a doctor or pharmacist must be consulted for application. We are not authorized to advise you on this. FOREWORD

The skin is the largest human organ and home body care is increasingly important. Ultrasonic waves, a form of energy, penetrate deeper into the tissue and convert there into heat energy as they are slowed down by cells. Heat, on the other hand, promotes blood circulation, has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces pain.

Use Ultraease with your personal gel/cream/ointment with, for example, nourishing, moisturizing, and lubricating properties for smooth application to the skin.

Ultraease enhances the regenerative effect of the products and works them into the deep tissue with 1-3 MHz ultrasound. This enables effective regeneration and gentle care for your face and body.

Comfortably from your home. Without external ultrasound sessions.

Long-term effect = Long-term use

Ultraease enhances the body's own physical regeneration and promotes blood circulation at the points of application.

Positive effects should become apparent within 6-8 weeks.

How Ultrasound Functions

Ultrasound technology involves sound waves in the very high-frequency range (so high that they cannot be felt) that stimulate tissue up to 4 cm below the skin’s surface. The movement and vibration of cellular fluids cause changes in membrane permeability and facilitate the movement of essential ions and nutrients into and out of the cells to support healing. Ultimately, ultrasound supports the body’s natural regeneration process.

Do not use Ultraease Ultrasound:

  • on inflamed or bleeding areas of the body, including areas affected by tuberculosis
  • on the skin in areas affected by vascular disorders (such as hemangiomas, capillary, lymphatic, arterial, or arteriovenous malformations)
  • directly over an acute epiphyseal separation (growth plates), in cases of myositis ossificans (ossification of soft tissue), or in the area of the genital organs
  • on open wounds or on sensitive or damaged skin areas, e.g., eczema
  • on the side of the neck above the carotid sinus (fork of the carotid artery)
  • on tissue that has recently undergone radiation therapy (within 6 months)
  • on the cervical ganglia, on the spine, or at sites where a laminectomy has been performed (may lead to bleeding in the spinal cord)
  • if you do not understand the user manual

DEVICE CHARGING

  1. Please be sure to always use only the included charger.
  2. If you use a different charger, an alarm will sound with a series of beeps to indicate that an incorrect charger is being used. This may interfere with charging, cause the charging process to stop, or damage the device.

SAFETY MEASURES PART 1

  • Do not use on desensitized (numb, hypoesthetic) areas of skin (e.g., in cases of diabetic neuropathy)
  • Please exercise caution when using this device for the initial treatment of pain of unknown origin and in patients with a history of cancer (within the past five years)
  • Set the intensity to a low level only on areas of the body with plastic or cement implants
  • If you have a metallic implant, you may experience pain or discomfort during ultrasound stimulation. In this case, discontinue use and seek medical advice
  • Ultrasound stimulation may feel more intense near a metallic implant. You may need to adjust the setting to a level that is comfortable for you
  • Discontinue use if signs of inflammation worsen (redness, heat, pain, swelling)
  • Discontinue use if you experience “pins-and-needles” sensations during treatment, and consult a doctor
  • The device may only be used with original accessories or accessories from the manufacturer

Page 10

SAFETY MEASURES PART 2

  • Do not use the device if it is defective. Continued use of a defective device can result in injury and inaccurate results, and can be extremely dangerous.
